Matt was born in New Zealand into a large family as the youngest of 8 children. In New Zealand he finished school at Nelson College for Boys and moved to Christchurch where he worked toward tertiary qualifications in Marketing and Psychology. Since moving to Queensland in 2006, Matt has worked his way from a job as a home decor salesperson to becoming a successful insurance agent and member of the million plus dollar club. An employment offer to work as the salesperson for a family operated property developer saw Matt gain success and a taste of what serving the general public in the real estate industry can offer.

Outside of work Matt enjoys various sporting activities and social events, however quality time with his young family is his number one priority.
