First Class Real Estate Agent

One open house, two inspections before open house, three offers and four days until the sale contract was signed! Above listing price too I might add.
In short, I would 100% recommend you contact Demelza as soon as you even consider the idea of selling your property. As a first time seller; my experience from initial contact to settlement, with Demelza as my agent, could not have been any more positive or easier.
I’d toyed with the idea of selling my house and upgrading for years. I met Demelza about six months ago after she successfully sold the property next door to me (multiple agents before her an the property had been on the market for years beforehand) and we had a good discussion about what was happening in my area.
She dropped by a few days later and gave me a “potential buyers” assessment of m yhouse and suggested some minor things I could do to improve my chances of a successful sale. Demelza was very pleasant to deal with, always positive and cheerful. She was very confident and her knowledge and experience with local market conditions, and what buyer’s really want (and area prepared to pay for) was evident.
Mid-September I contacted Demelza to say we were good to go and within a few days the property was on the market. Demelza sold one of my units in Fortitude Valley for a fantastic price. Considering the current market conditions I am very happy with the result.
At first I was a bit hesitant to appoint Demelza to market the unit, as she didn’t have as much experience as other agents who I was also considering. This didn’t prove to be any problem, and Demelza more than made up for experience with effort and determination. In fact, I think that sometimes other “more experienced” agents let their pre-conceptions get in the road of achieving the result you want, whereas Demelza didn’t have these same mental blocks towards achieving the right result for me.

I have dealt with Demelza both as a buyer and as a seller. That is why I believe she is a great real estate agent that you should give a chance to.
My first experience was as a buyer. She is willing to go the extra mile to seal the deal for you. She also negotiates hard on behalf of you. In my experience, we signed the first offer at around 6pm, counter a new offer at 8pm and she sealed the purchase at 11pm. All on the same night. This is still my current house after 4 years.
The next experience was as a seller. I had an investment property that was not in the local area. I just tod her the price that I could accept and let her do the rest. She brought to me an offer that was from heaven, really I have not seen an offer this good for this area. Without a doubt, I sold the property and it improved my financial situation greatly.

When I first showed interest in the house, I googled Demelza to see who we were “up against”. She had unreal reviews from all her sellers, that honestly, it worried me as a buyer. Her reviews show that she is a 5/5 seller and as a buyer, it didn’t look good. But when I met her, I realised she was just your every day chick, making a living doing what she loves and doing it seriously well. She wasn’t your typical, blatantly see-through agent. She was just a rad human, selling a beautiful home.
She didn’t push or get snarky with us, which seemed to be the comical mainstream for agents. My wife and I just laughed at those agents, who must think it’s still 1990.

Demelza was extremely responsive to my enquiry to sell; setting up photography and an open house within days, which resulted in multiple interested buyers. Upon first stepping into our now new home my wife and I felt comfortable. Demelza greeted us warmly, guided us through the premises informatively yet subtly giving us our space as we wandered through the rooms exploring the house as if she was not even there. This, to us, was an incredible relief away from other agents.
Another was in the knowledge she had of the home. I had questions about small details which I didn’t really expect an answer to, yet, it was provided almost instantaneously to a point I through she was pulling my leg for a bit. She wasn’t. She just had done the homework.
As for settlement again we felt Demelza jumped through hoops. Answering calls as late as 9 in the evening. Correcting paperwork with me at 10.
