About Mal Floyd

Mal Floyd is a licensed Qld real estate agent and REIQ member, selling real estate since 1984.

In 2024, Mal Floyd was made a Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Queensland in recognition of his high professional and ethical standards, and his contribution to improving the delivery of services by the real estate industry.

Mal has been owner/principal of a number of both independent and franchise agencies, mainly sourcing “off-market” properties throughout Qld for buyers and sellers. This service offers absolute discretion to the clients he deals with.

Being principally involved in selling commercial and investment properties, larger development sites and englobo land, Mal has established valuable agent and corporate links to assist in sourcing and selling properties in Qld and interstate.
Mal recently studied Sustainability and Business at JCU Cairns for three years, to further assist his clients, and has been actively involved in the local community, with 10 years as vice-president of the Cairns Youth and Recreation Centre Committee. Mal has also instructed in full contact karate and competed for Australia in Japan.
