About Margaret Edwards

Margaret has a very wide range of experience in real estate over the past 22 years, and prior to that worked in the associated fields of financial services and legal work, as well as managing a Co-operative Society. She has a Certificate in Real Estate Practices and holds a full Real Estate Licence. She has also trained and worked in property management and strata title management.

Her sales experience covers a wide variety of property types – from residential land, units and houses, small acreage properties, subdivisions, small and large working farms, plus commercial properties. Over recent years her sales have covered a broad price range, from small units selling for under $150,000, up to a block of 6 units which sold for $2 million, including a number of properties along the waterfront area.

Margaret was the Licencee of her own real estate office in Maleny for many years, and has more recently been based in Brisbane and the Redcliffe Peninsula. As well as working in sales, she was the Onsite Manager in a 84 unit complex. This role involved all aspects of building maintenance, strata title issues, and resident owners as well as investment owners’ needs. This complex also had a high percentage of investment properties so the work involved looking after the tenancies in the complex.

With a background in working in the family legal practice, and owning and running a financial services business, she has a very extensive understanding of all aspects of property and property transactions. Margaret has a Diploma in Real Estate Practices, and also does regular training with the REIQ to keep up to date with all matters.

Margaret brings all these skills to her work in all aspects of real estate which gives her the edge over many other agents. However it is her ability to relate to people from all walks of life, and her passion in getting the best result possible for her clients, that sets her apart and draws people back to her for their real estate needs. She does this all in a way that gives buyers, sellers, tenants and all the associated people that she deals with through her work, a feeling of confidence and a sense of security that she can be trusted to look after their interests in the best possible way. She also manages to do this with unending patience and good humour.
