We proceeded to sell our 2-bedroom Unit in Chippendale. The initial process involved meeting with three different real estate agents representing mainstream agencies which we selected out of the yellow pages (first mistake). The successful agent recommended that we go to auction (second mistake). The auction process failed with the highest bid being well below reserve and the agent recommended we sell (third and final mistake). We terminated the agent and in hindsight the auction strategy undertaken was totally inappropriate for the Chippendale Unit market. At this point Tony Mahon was referred to us by a vendor who had just used Tony to successfully sell his 2-bedroom Unit in Chippendale at a record price for the complex.
